The U.S. Trade Representative’s Office (USTR) has announced that certain China duty exclusions have been reinstated retroactive to Oct. 12, 2021 and will remain valid until Dec. 31, 2022. Some facts are known while others are not at this moment. US Customs has not announced when the exclusions will be active in the Customs’ system.
Products on the attached list are exempt from the additional China duties if the products imported match the exact description noted in the exclusion. It is your responsibility to review the list and advise us of your products that you believe meet the exclusion criteria. It is important that the products meet the exclusion definition exactly. Once you determine if you have any products on this list please let us know the product (description, SKU, etc) and the applicable exclusion from the list.
